A natural born performer Ivelaw Peters was born in Guyana before migrating to the United States at age seven. He became bitten by the acting bug after he had the opportunity to star in a NYU short student film. This led to him pursuing acting by taking part in various classes primarily at HB Studios and the TVI Actors Studios in New York.
He went on to complete a conservatory program at the prestigious Maggie Flanigan Studios. Ivelaw has appeared in off Broadway plays, various short films, and television shows such as HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. A proud Brooklyn resident Ivelaw uses his unique upbringing to channel the various characters he is given the opportunity to play.
